Firm Energy for the Reliability Charge
Self-scheduled plants

At present any plant less than 20 MW is a self-scheduled plant, and then it is not centrally dispatched by the CND. However, the commercial representatives of the plants whose capacity is greater than 10MW are able to decide if they want to be centrally dispatched by CND according to the rules established for larger plants.

The ENFICC of a self-scheduled plant depends on its net effective capacity and its availability.

The commercial representative of assets in this category must declare to CREG the availability of the self-scheduled plant. Otherwise, the CREG will assume 35% of availability.
